  1. Purpose

    1. Uniborn is committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for all users, including minors (individuals under 18). This policy explains how we prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), in compliance with Google Play’s requirements and global best practices.
  2. Scope

    1. This policy applies to:
      1. All content, interactions, and features in the Uniborn mobile app.
      2. All employees, contractors, moderators, and third-party service providers.
      3. Any recorded user interactions, including images, text, audio, or video.
  3. Prohibited Behavior

    1. All forms of CSAE are strictly prohibited. This includes:
      1. Sexual content involving minors (images, videos, audio, text).
      2. Soliciting or enticing minors for sexual purposes.
      3. Distribution or transmission of CSAE material.
      4. Grooming or predatory behavior targeting minors.
  4. Prevention Measures

    1. To prevent CSAE, Uniborn implements the following controls:
      1. Age Gate & Age Verifier: The minimum age for using the application is 18 years old, which is verified during verification in the mobile application.
      2. Content Moderation: All user-submitted content (images, text) is screened via automated filters and reviewed by trained moderators.
      3. Rate Limits & Blocking: Strict limits guard against unusual contact, especially involving minor accounts.
      4. Safe Communication Design: Features are designed to protect minors — e.g., communication disabilities, blocking, reporting tools.
  5. Detection & Reporting

    1. Uniborn maintains robust systems to identify and handle CSAE:
      1. Automated Detection: AI/ML and hash-matching tools scan uploads for known CSAE materials.
      2. Human Review: Flagged content is immediately escalated to trained compliance staff.
      3. In-App Reporting: Users can report suspicious content or behavior using accessible buttons.
      4. Mandatory Reporting: Confirmed CSAE content or grooming is immediately reported to national authorities and relevant hotlines, in line with legal obligations (e.g., NCMEC in the U.S., IWF in the UK, Europol).
  6. Staff Training

    1. Uniborn staff and contractors undergo regular, documented training in:
      1. Recognizing grooming, sexualized content, and CSAE indicators.
      2. App policy enforcement and safe communication strategies.
      3. Handling abuse disclosures by users, especially minors.
  7. Parental Controls & Education

    1. Parental Settings: Where relevant, settings allow parents/guardians to restrict access or features.
    2. Safety Resources: The app provides educational resources, tips, and links to support hotlines.
    3. Consent & Permissions: Where parental consent is required by law, the app requests verifiable authorization.
  8. Incident Response

    1. When a CSAE violation is reported or detected:
      1. Content is removed and/or user access is suspended.
      2. Investigations follow standardized abuse-response protocols.
      3. Law enforcement and relevant authorities are notified immediately.
      4. Users are informed of action taken, respecting legal obligations.
      5. Case documentation is securely retained.
  9. Record-Keeping & Auditing

    1. Logs are retained securely for a minimum of 7 years, or as required by local law.
    2. Regular audits (internal/external) evaluate policy compliance and update as needed.
  10. Continuous Improvement

    1. The policy is reviewed semi-annually or after any CSAE incident.
    2. Policy changes are communicated to users via app updates.
    3. We stay informed of best practices through specialist networks and external experts.
